M/V Aqua AQUA lounge M/V Aqua Suite

 FINALLY!  Luxury in the Amazon.

The new 12-Suite, 24 passenger M/V AQUA sails from Iquitos in nothern Peru on 3 and 4 night cruises into one of the most bio-diverse areas on earth, the Pacaya Samiria Reserve which boasts impressive wildlife: birds (330 species), mammals (130 types) including 13 species of monkeys, reptiles (69 species), amphibians (58 species) and freshwater dolphins, both grey and pink.

Luxury on board this 130 ft. riverboat includes good-sized cabins (230 - 240 sq. ft) with 15-ft panoramic windows, air-conditioning that actually cools without creating a cold, damp atmosphere and a spiffy bathroom with shower and all the amenities, including a hairdryer.

The food is gourmet with breakfast and lunch buffet style and dinner served, with continually flowing wine. There is a bar and air-conditioned lounge area, and an outdoor observation deck with comfy lounge chairs.

But even better than the physical luxury: the rainforest experience.  Ten person skiffs with comfortable individual padded seats take you and your guide along the rivers, lakes and creeks in search of flora and wildlife.  Excursions are made each morning and afternoon, and sometimes in the evening as well.

This is the finest boat along the Amazon, cruising one of the most biodiverse areas with great wildlife. That's a win win experience.
