Christmas
Greetings!

We are thrilled by the enthusiastic response from our members and supporters to our new initiatives. It is so encouraging to see the interest in our work. Thank you to all who attended the AGM and the VISPA Vision Week march earlier this month.

We hope you'll also join us on Saturday, November 12 for the first Public Engagement Day at our annual Retina Conference. During the conference, we are inviting all members of the public and patients to learn about the latest developments from leading international researchers, industry leaders and patient advocates. A major part of the event will be discussing how patients can get involved in shaping research and healthcare policy -- an important part of our mission to empower our members as a patient-led organisation.

We're also holding many church gate collections throughout the country and Christmas concerts in Dublin shopping centres in the next few months. If you'd like to get involved, please get in touch. Don't forget, our ever-popular Christmas cards are finally in stock and ready to send glad tidings to all your family and friends!

Kind Regards,
All at Fighting Blindness
