When it comes to the Holidays, you are likely looking for stores that offer top-quality service, but make the experience simple and stress-free. Time to think of The Bicycle Wheel and our layaway plan. Each year, our layaway plan allows you to shop early to get the colors and styles you want before our Holiday rush in December.

How does it work? Our layaway policy is very simple. All we ask for is 1/3 down and you can pay off the balance anytime before December 24th. christmas dad

Where is my bike stored? When we check over the bike that is tagged for layaway, we hang it from our ceiling, safely away from store traffic. No need to worry about a place to hide your gift!

What if I decide to pay in full? Even if you pay in full for a bike, we can still hold it for you at no charge until December 24th or a date that works for you.

What if I change my mind? No problem. We will give you a full refund on the amount you have deposited if you decide on a different bike or decide not to purchase a bike. With a policy like this, there is no reason to not shop early!

How does this apply to special orders? If we special-order a bike, we still only ask for 1/3 down. Keep in mind that there is a shipping charge (usually $40) when we special-order a bike. Special orders of items we do not normally stock are non-refundable. For items that we do stock, we will gladly refund the entire amount of the deposit, minus the shipping charge.

What if I decide to pick up my bike earlier than December 24? Not a problem. Your bike is checked over and prepped the day you place it on layaway. It is then hung from our ceiling away from traffic and is ready to be picked up at any time.
