Dear Friends and Family,
After taking a hiatus from writing my monthly newsletter, I thought it would be great to check in with everyone to see how everyone is doing.
As you may recall, we wer e going to take our "boy", Buzz, with us to the beach for our summer vacation. Well, he thought the waves were noisy, but enjoyed the over all experience of the ocean and the sand.
It also helped that there were other dogs playing in the ocean, too. I can't say that he was too thrilled with the heat, though. It was close to 100 degrees each day we were there.
I hope everyone else had a great summer, too. Send me a message via Facebook to let me know how you and your furry family members spent your summer vacation. |

Pets That Like to Eat Anything and Everything
I recently read an article about tips on avoiding ingestion emergencies by pet-proofing your home. The article suggested that you get on your hands and knees to see things from your pet's point of view. Look specifically for cabinets and drawers that are easy to open, garbage cans and laundry hampers without lids, decorative items that can be knocked over and loose cords and wires.
Swallowed foreign objects can be very dangerous to pets. So, avoid costly trips to the veterinarian by preventing access to dangerous chemicals, sharp objects and other foreign objects by pet-proofing your home.
