Also, if you get a lot of trick-or-treaters at your house, please keep a close eye on your pets. You'd be surprised how quickly they can run out of the house without anyone noticing.

 HomeAgain (one of the larger pet microchip companies) has designed an application for the iPhone that will alert you to lost pets in your area. It's called the PetRescuers application.

October 9, 2010Brook Run Dog Festival (Dunwoody, GA) - I will be at this event from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. So bring your pets or their pictures and sign up for a 10-minute consultation (1 pet per consultation) with me for $25.00. This event benefits the Brook Run Dog Park and Lifeline Animal Project.

October 23, 2010: Ahimsa House's Walk N' Wag (Atlanta, GA) I will be at this event from 10:00am - 2:00pm. During this time I will offer 10-minute consultations with pets for $25.00. So, bring your pictures of your pets or your pets to help me in supporting Ahimsa House (a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping the human and animal victims of domestic violence across Georgia reach safety together).

If you listen regularly to the Friday night show, you may have noticed that the format has changed. Instead of interviewing different guests each Friday, we will feature segments by several regular guests including Sheryl Matthys, Mari Justin, Karen Watts, Susan Sharpe and Deborah Wolfe.

Each of these guests has a particular area of expertise when it comes to pets (e.g. nutrition, behavior, training, etc.). We hope you enjoy the new format on the Friday night show!

The Sunday afternoon show will continue to feature interviews with great guests.
 
Our guests in October include Dusty Rainbolt, Arden Moore, W. Bruce Cameron, Gwen Cooper, Barbara Moss, Glenn Plaskin, Susan Ewing and Jon Katz.
 
The Friday night show is from 7:00 - 7:30pm ET and the second half of our show is from 8:30 - 9:00pm ET. The show can be heard LIVE on WTAN 1340 AM or via their station's web site.

The Sunday afternoon show is from 1:00 - 2:00pm ET.The show can be heard LIVE on
WLBE 790 AM or via their station's web site.
