Note: Constant Contact and I have finally figured out that the link issues in this e-newsletter occur when I attempt to use its Google Analytics tracking code, so... I'm not choosing that option anymore and the links should work for you again.

I haven't been in touch with most of you for quite some time. I'm happy to report that life has begun to re-settle, and I'm focusing attention again on the many ways our Choice Mom community is here to help each other on this journey.

How can you help? I'm putting together an e-book for Choice Moms of multiples. If this applies to you, share your stories of how you have coped, failed, triumphed, by August 15.

I'm also putting together an e-book about IVF. What did you learn through the process? How did medications affect you? What did it cost? Deadline: September 1.

Finally, I'm putting the finishing touches on an e-book about at-home insemination. Please share your own story with me if this topic applies to you, by August 5.

Choice Mom Networking Events

I'm busy putting together e-guides for women in Chicago, New York City, and Washington D.C., based on the excellent input we offered to each other at networking events in those cities earlier this year.

Next up: Austin, Texas, on Sunday, September 9. Registration has opened for this afternoon of in-depth conversation, with options for socializing after. Westin is offering a special discounted price for overnight guests. Free parking and lunch included; childcare offered with enough interest. As always, sponsor California Cryobank is offering a free vial of sperm in a raffle drawing, along with other prizes.

A Choice Mom is organizing a nanny-included trip to Jamaica in December. But you have to act immediately -- before the end of July -- to get a half-off price.

I'm looking for women interested in meeting at a weekend retreat at Earthrise in northern San Francisco. And in mid-October, we'll likely have a small gathering in Orange County, California. Send an email to info @ choicemoms.org to express your interest in either of these.

Use the EVENTS tab at ChoiceMoms.org to find up-to-date information about these options.

Talking Amongst Ourselves
I am putting together a new community discussion place at Big Tent, but need input. If you'd like to help create a great dynamic new space, let me know (info @ choicemoms.org). In the meantime, join us at:

(general one, offers specialized topics and stages, from Thinking to Being, just like ChoiceMoms.org)

Choice Mom Ning (note: this one will be disbanded after Big Tent is up; it costs $25/month to maintain and isn't being utilized enough to be worth keeping)

(for the challenges of becoming or being an "older" mom)
