Labor Day Solidarity
Greetings!
 Labor Day - it's the biggest celebration America throws each year to honor all the positive contributions working men and women have made to keep this country strong. So this Sept. 3, we here at Labor 411 hope you will use that time to give thanks to the labor movement and to the countless labor warriors who have fought over the years for some of the most basic rights that we enjoy today.
Think about an America without the 8-hour workday, paid overtime and holidays, guaranteed minimum wage, safe working conditions, medical leave, weekends, and child labor laws. We all too often take these basic rights for granted, but they (and many more worker protections) came directly out of the labor movement from the blood, sweat and tears of those before us. We should all be thankful!
So get ready to take some time this Labor Day to celebrate the accomplishments of the American worker and the strength of our collective voice.
