In six seasons as a head coach, Carlisle holds a career regular season record of 281-211 (.571) and has led his team to the postseason on five occasions. Roy McIlroy

Roy McIlroy

From an early age it became clear that Rory McIlroy wanted to become a golfer, allegedly hitting a forty yard drive at age two, and putting his first hole-in-one at the tender age of nine. Growing up in Northern Ireland, McIlroy perfected his craft with the help of pro Michael Bannon. By the time he entered his teens, McIlroy became a known force both in Ireland and on the continent, representing Europe in the 2004 Ryder Cup. His career was on the up-and-up when in 2005 he became the youngest person to win the West of Ireland Championship and the Irish Close Championships, repeating his success the following year. At 16, McIlroy participated in his first pro tournament, becoming a force to be reckoned with worldwide. Making the first cut in a pro tournament in Dubai Desert Classic, McIlroy became one of the world's most famous 17 year olds. Turning pro in 2007, McIlroy marked the occasion by finishing third in the British Masters, ensuring his spot on the European Tour. Just days short of his 21st birthday, McIlroy continued to make history, joining a select group of golfers to win on the US PGA before turning 21 which included Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.   As his game continues to improve on an individual level, McIlroy never forgets his Irish roots and has represented Ireland on numerous occasions at both the amateur and pro levels. In July 2011, Rory won the ESPY award for Best Male Golfer.
