Tips for a Great Exchange

  • Teachers are busy people! Where possible, recruit a parent or two to help coordinate the exchange.
  • Art is a powerful way for your students to share who they are, teach about their culture -- and make friends. Encourage them to do their best!
  • Where possible, involve your Art teacher -- or an Artist in Residence, to empower your students to create artwork they will be proud to share.
  • For a more meaningful exchange, include student photos, attached to the artwork.
