Greetings!

OneWorld Classrooms has recently posted four new videos, submitted by Japanese Connections, on our Electronic Cultural Exchange Library. Funded by the Freeman Foundation, Japanese Connections is a study tour program which takes Washington State high school students and teachers to Japan every year. This year, students worked in groups to create video documentaries based on thematic research projects they started before travel and then completed during their study tour in Japan.

The videos explore food, architecture, aesthetics and transportation in Japan. They feature student narration, including well-researched cultural information, and contemporary and traditional music -- and are accompanied by student-written summaries.

The videos are available at
http://www.oneworldclassrooms.org/travel/library/videoindex.html. You will need your OneWorld Classrooms username and password to access the them. If you have forgotten your username/password, please send an Email to password@oneworldclassrooms.org.

Many thanks to Patricia Burleson of Japanese Connections for submitting the videos -- and to all of the students and teachers who participated!
