Registration for OneWorld Classrooms' Classroom Connections program is open now! The deadline for registration for the 2008/2009 school year is January 1st, 2009. Registration for our FREE Travel & Learn Online content and Global Connections program will remain open throughout the school year.

OneWorld Classrooms' FREE Travel & Learn Online content includes 'field trips' and E-Travel Logs to the Amazon Rain Forest, the Galapagos Islands, Africa and China; the Student to Student Language Lab; Cultural Profiles of Historic and Modern China; the Amazon River Elementary School Web Site; animal poetry safaris; the Electronic Cultural Exchange Library; and much more! To log on, you must enter your username and password.

The school bell is ringing and OneWorld Classrooms is gearing up for another year of linking classes from around the world! This bulletin lists participation options for our Classroom Connections program for the 2008/2009 school year. All K-12 classrooms are welcome to participate. If you would like your class/school to interact with an overseas partner class/school this school year, REGISTER NOW -- or see below for more information.

We also welcome you to travel the world throughout the school year -- right inside your own classroom -- using our FREE Travel & Learn Online content. If you registered last year (or in a previous year), you need not register for the free content again: Just look for your username/password reminder in the left-hand column below. (NOTE: If you have already registered for the free content but would also like to participate in Classroom Connections this year, you must register again.)

2008/2009 Classroom Connections

This school year, make your global explorations come alive by participating in OneWorld Classrooms' Classroom Connections. When you register to participate, our staff matches you with a partner class or school in the world region of your choice. We also provide specific guidelines, standards and E-mail support. You coordinate the exchange with a Partner Teacher at your partner school.

Registration is open from NOW until January 1st, 2009. We recommend that you register early to ensure participation. To register your class, classes or school, please complete our online REGISTRATION FORM. The form also provides detailed information about all participation options. You may click through the form to learn more about each option. (The information you provide will not be transmitted until you click on the SEND REGISTRATION button on the last page of the form.)
