As many of you now know, Tonya - Lisa Heidtman's partner, was killed in a fall from the outside steps of Lisa's home this morning while Lisa was at college. Lisa returned to find the street thronged with police and ambulances, and was informed that Tonya had died at the scene.

We stand by Lisa as a family of faith, and seek to comfort and support her in her loss. I also ask you all to pray for her, and Tonya's friends and family that the presence of God may serve as a continuing link with Tonya, who is gathered into the arms of that same loving God. God is present more intimately at such times than at any other stage in our lives.

 

I would also ask that you keep Miss Mary Cavanaugh -  Jen's mother, in your prayers, as she was taken to West Jefferson hospital this morning with breathing problems. Leon and I have visited with her, and she seemed happy and comfortable, if a little weak. Please keep all those who love Mary (and that is all of us) in prayer, but especially pray for Jen, that she may be comforted and strengthened, and that she may know she is surrounded by love and support.
