Time for a Resolution...
This New Year brings the prospect of change, of growth, of renewal, of revival, of untold and un-guessed at blessings. It offers redemption, deliverance and a life that matters - embrace it!
Going about things the same old way is a sure way to the same old results - being a committed member of a church that commits to you is the first step to changing the pattern. Nothing ventured, nothing gained - we reap as we sow; let us sow together a fertile and fruitful garden in this city in 2009.
I give you my promise as Pastor that in 2009 I am going to redouble my commitment and efforts to grow and prosper YOUR church, and make use of our ever growing pool of talent. Be prepared for big changes and God's hand amongst us as we move to become an independant church again - as a sure and certain sign of our return to vigorous health!

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THIS SUNDAY
 For those who heard Lea sing a few weeks ago you don't need any encouragement to come to church on Sunday and hear him sing again! For all others I encourage you to come and enjoy what is shaping up to be a great service, with the second part of last weeks sermon on Jesus titled 'Why do we need Jesus?'. We also have some really rousing worship songs and hymns, and Lea is singing a solo piece after the sermon. If you have not had the chance to visit with us yet then the first Sunday of the new year is a perfect time - if you have, then come back and let God bless you and all of us with you.
