Alleluia and Praise God!

I wrote the same title this time last year when I sent our email out; I also used the same image. I was writing last year about the previous weeks service which I felt as a breakthrough - where the energy in church had tipped, and I felt a real 'presence' of God for the first time. At the end of the email I mentioned that there had been 17 in church; this Sunday we had a wonderful, blessed and inspiring service with 60 people in church.
Let me say that once you cover the base, once you devote all your doings to God and prospering people's relationship with God then numbers start to matter. They matter because we are in the business of healing and 'making whole' human lives through a loving relationship with the God that formed them - and frankly, the more we reach, the more we can do.
This coming Sunday as we go up to Baton Rouge to see Troy Perry, our numbers count as testimony of the hard work we have done in God's name, and the blessings we have received. This is especially gratifying for our friends in Baton Rouge because if they hadn't stuck their necks out and taking OUR revival under THEIR wing then Leon and I could never have even come to New Orleans.
I am looking forward to something special next Sunday - and look forward to seeing you all there at 7747 Tom Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 at 11.00am next week! Many of us will be gathering at church in New Orleans between 8.30 and 9.00am to carpool up there - if you need a ride turn up then or get in touch, and if you have space in your car likewise; turn up then or get in touch.
Much love,
