The rally for equality today was an unqualified success! The Forum for Equality estimated 500 people turned out in support of marriage equality. I opened the rally with prayer, and closed it with a speech lifting up Christianity as the wellspring of justice and equality. I also gave an interview with Fox 8 news, but MSNBC and photographers from other media outlets were also present. Watch the local news tonight! It was good to see folk from church attending, and I would like to thank Ryan and Randy from Forum for Equality especially for their wisdom and support. HRC, PFLAG (thanks Toni!) and NOAIDS Taskforce also spoke and attended. Many thanks too to James Hartman for framing and issuing our press releases!
