There's nothing wrong with an occasional splurge, but recent research reveals just how much our meals miss the nutritional mark. 

Try these tips for hitting daily recommended nutrient amounts:

Sodium (Recommended amount: Less than 2,400mg)
- We actually eat 2,880mg
- TIP: Switch to low-sodium soups

Fiber (Recommended amount: 25g)
- We actually eat 14g
- TIP: Eat 1 cup high-fiber cereal

Sugar
