Author Visit: Jeff Kinney


Join Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, at the Headquarters Library Thursday, November 17, from 9:00-10:00 am.

 

He'll be here to talk about his new book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever.

 

Autographed books must be ordered and purchased in advance by calling Jabberwocky Books at 540-371-5684. Mr. Kinney will not be available to sign books at this event.

 

Sign up begins November 1st. Call 540-372-1144 to register. Space is limited.

England Run
Halloween Hoopla
Halloween stories, songs and a costume parade for children ages 2-5 with their caregivers. Wednesday, October 26, 10:00-10:30 and 11:00-11:30.

Porter
Spooky (but not too spooky) stories, songs, and a costume parade. For preschoolers and their caregivers. Drop in. Friday, October 28, 9:30-10:00 and 10:30-11:00.

Salem Church
Halloween Hoopla! Alphabet Soup Special
Celebrate Halloween with stories, songs and a costume parade through the library for ages 2-5 with a caregiver. Friday, October 28, 10:00-10:45 (Daycare drop-in and families) and 11:00-11:45 (Families).

Snow
Spooky Stories
Spooky Stories for Grades K - 6th. CRRL librarians have stories to tell! Can we scare you? No sign-up is required. Tuesday, October 25, 6:30 - 7:30.

Montross
Shrieks and Shivers
27th Halloween Party at Montross Branch Library on Thursday, October 27, 6:30. Come all ye ghosts and goblins and enjoy fun, food, and a trip to the HAUNTED MUSEUM.
