This past spring, we asked you to vote for us on the KCRA A-List. You responded so positively that we won our category! We're asking you to vote for us again. This time it is to vote The Running Zone as one of the top 50 running stores in America. You actually helped us win this award in 2005 when we were a brand new store. We were also selected as the best new running store that same year.
We'd love to win this award in 2009 but we can't do it without your support. Your votes will create a nomination for our store and put us in the running for recognition which is often challenging for a non-corporate, non-franchise business to achieve otherwise.

2)The Running Zone is actively involved in our community. We help put on the Run 4 Independence to benefit the Elk Grove Food Bank. We sit on the City of EG Trails committee and give input on current and future trails. We coach local high school cross-country, running clubs and charity marathon training groups, to mention just a few.

Local small businesses like The Running Zone give a community character, support the local economy, employee local residents and give generously to local schools and organizations.
