I thought a good way to begin 2011 would be to describe exactly what we do to service your home and keep it as safe from pests as is possible. While it might seem simple enough, our monthly maintenance service includes far more than a guy with a backpack walking around your property spraying.

Service Technicians: Our service technicians are well trained on every product we use and certified annually by Arizona's Pest Control Board. They are always neatly attired, clean, friendly, polite, and respectful. Included in our commitment to you is reliability and treating your property as if it was ours... and I'm sure you'll agree we consistently do just that.

Products: The products used are the highest quality available, state of the art, and conform to environmental standards. Different products are applied throughout the year for the following reasons:

• Prevent immunity from being passed to the next generation of pest
• Pest activity differs as the weather changes

Process: When the service technician arrives at your home as scheduled he immediately begins spraying the outer perimeter of your property where bugs and other such pests congregate then gradually works his way inward to the home. If you are there the technician will inquire as to any specific concerns and address them. The following actions are then taken to kill pesky critters and deter them from entering your home:

• Treat your stem wall and build a protective barrier around your property
• Treat block pillars on perimeter walls, bushes, and rocks - all of which are favorite harborage points for scorpions and other pests
• Emphasize treating entry/door thresholds and sliding glass doors because these areas are the easiest home entry points for scorpions
• Inspect and treat irrigation and meter boxes for crickets, scorpions, and roaches because these rascals like to hide in dark moist areas
• Check for and remove spider webs
• Fill bait boxes to reduce the rodent population around your home if you are using this service offering

The Extra Mile: While on the premises we also check for the following:

• Termite tubes
• Rodents activity
• Beehives or excessive bee activity
• Discoloration of pool water where applicable
• Accumulation of fliers and like materials at the front door

You will be advised of our findings as soon as is practical.  If you are out of town we will assess the gravity of each situation and act as we feel is in your best interest under the circumstances.
