Hello :

With the onset of spring and warmer weather the Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes are waking from hibernation, breeding, and slithering about. You probably won't meet up with one of these ornery rascals but stay alert.

Description: The Western Diamondback is the largest rattlesnake in western North America ranging in size from 3 to 5 feet. The predominate coloration on those found in Arizona is greenish brown. The diamond shapes down its length are dark and the tail has jet-black rings just before the rattle begins. Below is a picture of this little darling.

Behavior: The Western Diamondback is venomous and will stand its ground. It's aggressive and easily excitable yet not necessarily apt to attack offensively, but is rather defensive in nature. However, don't take any chances on it being passive.

Diet: Its diet consists of rabbits, mice, rats, gophers, sparrows, and ground squirrels.

Sorry, but we do not have the professional training to remove snakes. If you have any concerns I suggest contacting your local fire department where they have the required expertise.

For snake bite help call Banner Good Samaritan Poison and Drug Information Center at  800.222.1212

Kill Zone:  You guessed it - getting to be that time of year when scorpions begin to breed and we're ready for 'em -  the "Kill Zone" is baaaaaaack! We'll begin implementing this powerful treatment towards the end of May and I want to give you a heads up early this year. As with prior years it's always best to make a reservation so you can be assured to have your home protected before the scorpions come visiting... and being the friendly, sociable fellas they are you can bet that they will more than happy to visit.  Call me with any questions about the application and to reserve a time slot.

Referral Fee:  I'm still standing pat on my offer of a $50 American Express gift card for every referral that agrees to our general maintenance services for one year. It's found money, albeit not a lot, but it beats a doff of my cap and a smile, so take advantage and send a little new blood our way.

As always, we sincerely appreciate your business and will never take it for granted.
