Happy New Year :
Yup, it's none other than yours truly in full motorcycle regalia with bike proudly
holding the 2009 AMRA First Place Award... so please indulge me for a moment.
In addition to my family and work my passion is off road
motorcycle racing... and believe me, the battle scars, steel plates, aches and
pains are there to prove it all too well. The main event I compete in annually
is sponsored by the Arizona Motorcycle Racing Association and consist of a
series of desert races held in various states over the course of one year.
Races average 100 miles and are run over very unfriendly and grueling diverse
terrain including boulders, cacti, gulches, rugged trails - you name it - not
your casual Sunday ride.
Each race has age classes and winning is based on the
cumulative number of points earned during a year. Don't laugh, but your truly
not only competes in the 30 year old class but this year I won first
place. Not too shabby for a young
pup of 50 - and my goal is to repeat next year.

Pest Control: You might not believe this but the manufacturers of pest
control products are extremely sensitive to protecting the environment. They
constantly strive to develop new and improved solutions that are both
ecologically friendly and effective on pests, which is quite a challenge.
Greener in 2010: This
year a new and more environmentally friendly generation of pests control
products has been developed for our industry. These products are very effective
for controlling common bugs but don't work well on corralling ornery scorpions.
Sonoran's Policy: Our policy has always been to use the
latest, most environmentally friendly and effective products available, and
that will never change. However, since our real area of expertise is scorpion
control where the new products are not particularly effective, we want to
provide you with service options - all without any price increase.
