Hello :
As relatively
new parents we're just amazed how each Christmas takes on a whole new meaning
for us because of our daughter, Lexi, as she gets older and begins to
understand the holiday. She's almost three now and is totally mesmerized by
Santa Claus, his reindeer, and the other traditional trappings of Christmas
that intrigue children of her age. As a matter of fact all that she talks about
these days is Santa and Christmas.
Our North Pole Experience: We
thought it would be fun to take her to Arizona's version of the North Pole and
the whole Santa Claus experience held just outside of Williams every year, so
off we went. There's a train called the Polar Express that leaves Williams
around 6:30 in the evening and arrives at the North Pole Village about an hour later. During the train ride hot chocolate is
served and most everyone joins in singing traditional Christmas songs while the
children anxiously wait for that magical moment when they meet Santa. The village is all decked out with colorful
lights, trees, and just has a warm Christmas look and feel.
When the train
arrives at the North Pole Santa boards to greet the children and needless to
say they simply stare in utter amazement. Santa does his ho- ho-ho routine and
hands out Magic Bells to break the ice and relax the youngsters. To the delight of the children he rides
the train back to Williams with them and everyone has a great time.
Just watching
the excitement and anticipation of the children seeing and speaking with Santa
is quite an experience. Lexi was in a semi-state of shock when Santa appeared
and couldn't say a word.Finally
she relaxed and truly enjoyed talking with Santa. She wanted me to pose with
him for a picture but he wasn't particularly keen with the thought of me
sitting on his lap so I didn't push it.
2010: Wow - another
year is just about to conclude - where did it go so fast? I sincerely hope it brought you and
your family good health, happiness, and prosperity - and that 2010 brings more
of the same.
Thank you so
much for your business. It is very much appreciated and will never be taken for
granted.
May your
holidays be joyful and your family safe.
Sincerely,
