Hello :

Hope your 4th was enjoyable and safe.  We took Lexi to Payson to watch the annual parade, fireworks, and other happenings. The weather was great and we really enjoyed the events.

I Sincerely appreciated your comments - for better or worse - about my colonoscopy fiasco.  Fortunately everything checked out OK - whew, I'm glad that's out of the way. Seriously, the procedure could not have been easier and I want to give kudos to my physician, Dr. Bradford Gelzayd, at Southwest Digestive Specialists in Scottsdale who can be reached at 480.767.7273 in the event you're so inclined.

Ants: There have been a ton of ants here this year - seems like they're all over the place.  Unlike scorpions they cannot really be controlled by laying down a protective barrier but have to be killed at the source. If you have any ant problems call us and we'll take care of those pesky critters - without charge.

Self-Help For Scorpions: Below are some easy steps you can take to minimize scorpions in and around your home by eliminating some of their favorite harborage places.

  • Keep the bottoms of shrubs trimmed off the ground
  • Clean up all debris around your home and in the yard
  • Clean out your attic
  • Clean out your garage

I'm not suggesting that your yard, attic, and garage require tidying up, but merely pointing out areas where scorpions congregate when the opportunity presents itself.

Seek and Destroy: We're experiencing excellent results and happy clients with this program, so if you're concerned that scorpions might be in or around your home take advantage of this service.

Thank You: I know this is a tough economy and want to sincerely thank you for your continuing support and loyalty. We are always here for your pest control needs so don't hesitate to call us with any concerns.

Well, old man summer has finally arrived - yikes - 110 and rising.  Stay cool, hydrated, and safe.

Sincerely,
