Sure has been a wild economic ride lately - hope you're hanging in there through the ups and downs - with more ups!
New Referral Fee: I don't have deep pockets like the Feds so the closest that I can come to a bail-out is to increase our referral fee to $100 through January 31, 2009. Not a lot but it still beats a poke in the eye and doesn't require much effort. Just email me your referral's contact information and I'll do the follow-up work. If they agree to do business with us for one year I'll send you an American Express gift certificate for $100 right away... promise!
Bee Services: We've formed a separate division dedicated to handling all bee issues because they are unique and really outside the realm of general pest services. Fees will be job dependent. Our web site will have a page on bee services, and we'll also have an independent site called Sonoranbee.com. Both are currently under development and should be launched by December 1st.
Rat Services: No separate division for these rascals but services, including cleaning out nests, setting and re-filling bait traps will be outside the scope of our general services and fees will be job dependent.
Alert: With cooler weather rats are becoming more of a problem as they seek out warmth for shelter and new things to chew. A favorite spot is inside Bar-B-Q pit enclosures - where they make their winter nests and bring in all sorts of diseases. They love to chew on wires and the gas line from the source to the grill is a favorite. This can cause gas to leak, fumes to accumulate, and an explosion to occur when the pit is lit. A client unfortunately experienced this - so please be careful.
Service Agreement: My legal beagle has been on me for years to use a service agreement and now my CPA is singing the same song. I know its just sound business so I'm having one drafted and will tell you more when it's completed.
