Greetings!

Happy New Year:
Greetings this 2008.  You're not gonna' believe this but I've been back from Chicago for a couple of weeks and am just now thawing out.  My wife's family is there so we bundled up with long-johns, parkas, other winter garb, and made the annual holiday visit - fortunately I'm off the "obligation" hook for a while - whew!  Don't get me wrong now - I love my in-laws, but for me holiday traveling just isn't enjoyable, particularly with an infant in tow.

Chi-town:
I took a little private time to stroll along Wacker Drive and Michigan Avenue on one of those "picture book" Chicago winter days where the bright sun radiated against a deep blue sky with bitter cold, crisp air. It was really cool seeing all of those majestic skyscrapers instead of mesas, cacti, and crushed granite. Got the munchies about half way through my walk so I went into a small pizza joint and "woofed" down a deeeelicious pie with all the trimmins' that only the locals can make - ummmmm - to die for. But it's GREAT to be back in the valley and finally warm up a bit.

Scorpions:
Speaking of warmth, our pesky scorpions seek it out big-time during colder months.  They're much less active now and spend their time trying to keep warm under rocks, and in crevices and cracks.  You might have noticed some of them after the recent rains . The water washes scorpions from their favorite hiding places so they have to start searching for new digs that are warm and cozy.  On a positive note, the water pushes our products deeper into the crevices so they become even more effective if the varmints  return to thier old haunts or new ones take up residency.

New Processes:
We're working on some new processes to better protect you and your family. I'll provide information as we begin to implement them.

Super Bowl and FBR: Please be alert and drive extra carefully next week - lots of "out-of towners" enjoying the festivities and hoopla here... and fortunately helping our economy with $$$$$.

We appreciate your busines and will never take it for granted.
