Couldn't resist so hang with me for a sec here - this is yours truly competing in an "Off-Road" race just before some invisible rascal put a big rock in front of me causing a crash and ending my day. Maybe I'm gettin' too old for this - particularly since I've got 20 years on most of my competitors who affectionately call me "Uncle Bret". Anyway, motorcycles are really my passion so what the heck.
More Scorpions Than Usual: Many of you have seen more scorpions than usual for this time of the year when they're generally less active. Here's the deal: scorpions seek warmth and follow the path of lease resistance to find it. Cooler evenings are uncomfortable for scorpions and the easiest place for them to find heat is from homes. The hot sun beats down on them all day and at night the retained heat attracts scorpions. They aggressively work their way into your home to kick back and enjoy the warmth and comfort. Don't hesitate to call us if you find these critters freeloading around your home - we'll evict 'em pronto!
Spiders: Last month's high winds blew spiders all over the place and unfortunately many landed on your homes and in window sills where they resumed their activities. Call us with any spider concerns and we'll be there.
