How 'bout this sub 100° weather - finally.
Thanks to all of you who have sent comments about our baby Lexi. She's doing great and is the joy of our lives.
So what are scorpions up to these cool days? The mating season will be dormant through March so scorpions use this time to hang out and rest up for breeding in the early spring. Each time a female is fertilized she has 3 - 4 deliveries of 10 - 20 babies, which means no shortage of these pesky rascals. Remember that even with reduced activity they're still around and will give you an "owie" that'll smart like the devil
Do you still need protection in cooler weather? Yes. During this period we recommend continuing your monthly service in order to maintain the integrity and strength of the protective barrier we've established over the preceding months. If you stop enforcing the barrier its effectiveness will be reduced because of time and weather and we'll have to start the rebuilding proces from scratch. It's just a couple of insurance bucks well spent each day.
Termites: Our technicians look for termites at each service and will let you know if they see them, but it's an area outside of our focus. We'll certainly recommend a company with expertise in termite control.
Referrals: Here I go bribin' ya again - yup - I'm the worst. But listen up - in addition to the 50 bucks for each new customer you refer, the family or person who refers the most new business by November 30th will receive $500 - sort of an early XMAS gift. Not bad - eh? I promise none of my relatives will win.
