By virtue of its name, Peaceful Ponderings, the intention of this e-zine is to pose questions, evoke thought, and give you points to ponder. I would like to include ideas from some of you. What is giving you pause? I have a few gifts to give away to those who are willing to share! Send me an email with a thought, a quote, an article you wrote...

The Assignment Sometimes I feel like things are happening around me and I am quite oblivious... but sometimes I am fortunate enough, or perhaps it is aware enough, to recognize the wonderful blessings in my life. I have been so blessed to have had amazing people around me, it seems, at every step along my life journey. There are those who have pushed and challenged me often when I least wanted to make changes, but sometimes that is what we need most is someone daring enough to lovingly push us past our own resistance. There have been those who have stood by with stoic faith and believed in me when I not only had trouble believing in myself but sometimes had trouble even knowing what I believed. Some have guided, supported, laughed, cried, led, followed and walked beside me. Mentors have opened new doors, revealed new paths and lit the way through the dark. Today, think of those who have helped to make you the person you are today. Those who have cheered you on and cheered you up. Those who let you stumble but offered you guidance to avoid a hazardous fall, those who encouraged you, questioned you, and loved you because of and despite the choices you made. Those who by living a life of grace have modelled what is possible. There are angels among us. Those who live and breathe in this life with us and those we may not know or recognize or even see. They are our sisters, our friends, our mentors, they are you and me. Our assignment, should we choose to accept it, is to recognise the blessing in each opportunity we are presented with, to share freely all the gifts we have been blessed with and to be grateful every step of the way. |

The more we practice, within the safe and supportive container of a workshop, and with active facilitation and coaching, the quicker we are able to change our habits. Rejoicing in our blessings will be one of the areas of focus in our upcoming group coaching program Women of Wonder.

Abundant Blessings: In this spot each newsletter I will feature a website I feel is worth checking out. They will be sites where you can share your abundant blessings. As we share our gifts with the world, our lives are enriched. This week you might want to check out how you can make a difference through The Hunger Site |
