When you see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is not beneficial to go out and build more tunnel.

It was John Quinton who observed that politicians do
that. Maybe you've caught yourself doing it, too. Just
when things look like they're getting better, you start
seeing more things that "aren't right," or "could go
wrong."

The Universe is essentially a friendly place. So friendly,
in fact, that it will give you exactly what you expect
it to.

Isn't that wonderful? Of course, it depends on what
you expect...

What will you Spring Clean?

We think of spring cleaning as a time we can throw open the windows, clear out the stale air, let the sun light fill our rooms and feel a renewed sense of clean and fresh as we head into the warmer months of the year.
Today let's consider spring cleaning more than just our rugs and closets.  Today I want to spring clean my mind.
I have lots of cob webs to clear out.  Those dark corners where old limiting beliefs collect and seem to attach themselves for a firmer hold.  I want to shake out the judgements that keep me from showing up 100% as the strong, capable person that I know my authentic self to be.  I plan to scrub some of the grunge off of those long held dreams that I have allowed to remain dormant for far too long - I will clean them off, fluff them up and hang them out where I can see them lit up by the sun.
What do you want to spring clean today?
Are there limiting beliefs lurking in the dark recesses of your mind?  Do they get in the way of you living your ideal life?  Do they hold you back from being that big bold beautiful YOU?  One way to sweep that dusty grime away is to fill your life with positive affirmations and gratitude.  Like attracts like, be grateful for what is good in your life, recognise that things happen in our lives in order for us to be prepared, to be in the right place for the things we are attracting to us.  But, as in the quote in the sidebar says, it all depends on what you are looking for.
Do you have a dream that you have always wanted to fulfill but have put it away until... the kids got bigger, the house was paid off, the time was right... Today I encourage you to take five minutes to sit back and visualize what your life would be like if you achieved that dream.  Just five minutes - today.  What is it about the dream that excites you?  Is it really the dream the way you have always pictured it or is it something that the dream will allow you to be do or have?  What I mean is if you have always dreamed of being a millionaire is it being a millionaire that is the end result you desire or the house you would live in or the things you would be able to do with your money?  Then take the next week to get clear on what your dream really is, each day take it out, polish it up a little, look at all sides of it and set it up where you can see it clearly.  When we are clear on our dreams, and keep them in our line of vision they become much more achievable.
As the sun shines, the days get warmer and longer, let's do a little spring cleaning... off to the trash heap with those limiting beliefs, sweep those judgements out the door, shine up those forgotten or neglected dreams.  Open the windows wide and let your fresh potential shine into the darkest corners, and the breeze of excitement blow any doubts away.   Happy spring cleaning!

The more we practice, within the safe and supportive container of a workshop, and with active facilitation and coaching, the quicker we are able to change our habits.  Clearing limiting beliefs will be one of the areas of focus in our upcoming group coaching program Women of Wonder.  Watch for details to come in the next month in Peaceful Ponderings.

New Book

The secret of success 5000 years in the making
This world has managed to surprise me again.
Have you read "The Pharaohs' Code" new book by Mohamed Tohami?
Here's the link to the official site:
http://www.ThePharaohsCode.com/special.html  ... (surprise inside!)
It's the latest trend in the science of success, even though it delivers a message from 5000 years ago - a message that contains invaluable wisdom that has been true over the entire human history.

The reason I'm writing to you today is because Tohami has shared with me the story that actually opened his eyes on life success, and made him write that book.

The key to one of the major transformations in his life was the Pyramid of Khufu, also called the Great Pyramid of Giza - the most magnificent and only remaining monument of the 7 Wonders Of The World.

When he entered it, he saw a narrow passageway that goes upward between huge stone blocks, exuding the ancient smell of mystery and magic.

After a long journey up the passageway, and even crawling through a hole in a wall, he finally reached the chamber of the King Khufu. It's a huge room at the exact center of the pyramid.

And he stood there for some time to observe the spirit and the meaning of the place.

Then he realized an important insight!

He felt that the Pharaohs had given him a message to carry to the world from 50 centuries ago.

And the message is that we can find our joy and happiness, and we can build an everlasting success only if we strive to stand out, like the Pyramid, make a difference and serve other people in every way we can.

And now, in his new book "The Pharaohs' Code", Tohami reveals amazing secrets of the Pharaohs that will inspire you to find joy in your life, and hence make a difference and leave a legacy that ensures you, like the Pharaohs, will stand out and be long remembered in the hearts and minds of others.

OK I hope you enjoyed the story. I hope it's been helpful.

Peace.

Barbara

I love the fact that we have the freedom to call this God whatever we choose. That we have the liberty to debate the existance of Spirit. That we have the right to speak openly and from our hearts about our beliefs, our doubts, our questions and our faith. For all of this I am grateful.
