One of the provisions in health care reform is the government would establish a website where users could research and compare insurance plans for individuals and small businesses. The new site is now running. 

 

While we haven't had a chance to completely review it yet, much of it looks like what any broker does on a daily basis.  One feature that has potential is a medical provider comparison tool.  Visitors can compare satisfaction information from a number of hospitals in their area.  We did notice that the providers have agreed to participate.  We don't know if that means they can 'opt-out' if they end up not liking the results.
