There are few things as delightful as a summer in New England. In celebration, we are pleased to once again showcase the stunning marine and landscape oil paintings of Dahl Taylor.

Last January, Taylor was here for "Coastal-scapes of New England," and it was one of Geary Gallery’s most popular exhibits. We’re pleased he is returning to display more of his New England-inspired paintings.

Dahl Taylor

Dahl Taylor has been creating original illustrations, paintings, portraits and murals for more than 25 years. His New England-inspired marine and landscape paintings have appeared in many magazines, museums and public and private collections. His work includes commissioned portraits of a former NY State Attorney General and a Federal Bankruptcy Court judge, prints for the U.S. Navy Memorial and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C., a Neil Simon Broadway play poster, illustrations for the “American Girl” children’s books and a 36' mural installed in the library of a state university.

An experienced marine painter, Dahl Taylor has participated in the Mystic Seaport Maritime Gallery's International Shows for 15 consecutive years. He received the Thomas M. Hoyne, III Award for his painting of Stonington, Maine in 2000. Dahl was part of a two-man show at the Albany Institute of History and Art, which documented the construction of a replica of the schooner “America.” Several of these paintings were featured in the British magazine “Classic Boat.”Taylor’s recent commissions include limited edition Sam Adams beer labels and designer Ralph Lauren’s “RL Gang” video.

In celebration of the start of summer in New England, Geary Gallery encourages visitors to come and enjoy the New England-inspired marine and landscape gallery oil paintings of Dahl Taylor. The Dahl Taylor exhibit runs through July, admission is free and the artwork is available for acquisition.
