Well it has been a while since our last news letter (I can't believe it has been over a year!) I apologize for not keeping you up to date on what is going on here at Van-Again. I will try to make these email updates closer together in the future. We have been staying busy keeping Vanagons on the road. Also we had a fun project working on a 66 VW Bus for a customer! The Bus was updated with an air conditioning system and also front disc brakes! It took over nine months but now the Bus is getting painted and then will go to it's new home in the Caribbean where it will spend the rest of it's days an a small island. What a way to retire! Christmas is coming! Christmas is almost upon us as you are all well aware. Van-Again sells many items that would be considered a great Christmas present for your Vanagon (or the Vanagon lover out there). Some items that have been popular in the past are 15" alloy wheels, SA Grille Kits, and H4 Headlight Upgrade kits. We also sell new Syncro Driveshafts that have been very popular over the last year since they eliminate those pesky Syncro vibration problems. Or if you don't know what to get that Vanagon person in your life why not just get them a Gift Certificate to Van-Again. These are sold through the web store or you can give me a call or email about them. They are sold in $50 increments and the part number in the store is gift1. As with anything ordered around this time of year, the sooner the better. If you want to be sure that your parts arrive in time to place them near the tree (or out in the garage) in time for Christmas Eve you should order them as soon as you can. Fall Clearance Fall is also a great time to get some great deals on parts here at Van-Again We are looking at some parts that we have had sitting around for a while that would probably have a better home installed on your van and we are slashing prices to get them there. We're excited to announce some new items that we've been working on for a while now. Van-Again Gift Certificates! Just in time for Christmas we are offering gift certificates for sale on our website. Don't know what to get that special someone on your list? Get them a Van-Again Gift Certificate so that they can put their van back on the road. If you want one of these as a present be sure to print out this newsletter, circle the part about the gift certificates, and stick it on the fridge (all very inconspicuously of course :-) Square Headlight Upgrade Kit- $475. Includes the European outter headlights, bulbs, adjusters, and wiring. Helps have brighter light where you need them at low beam. Actually be able to see where you are going at night! New Syncro Driveshafts- $525 These brand new Syncro Vanagon driveshafts that are made here in the US. They completely redesigned for better quality and reliability than the original. They also use a commonly available/cheaper u-joint that is easily replaced for the future. The ujoints are greasable for longer life and no vibration. If your Syncro is vibrating going down the road this is probably the part you need to smooth things out. Check out the products for yourself on our homepage.
