Season's Greetings December 2006
Your Skin...Surviving the Winter Months...
In This Issue
Greetings! (Coupon at Bottom!)

The winter season is upon us! Dropping temperatures outside and rising inside temperatures have negative effects on our skin. Low humidity, coupled with heavier clothing and longer, hotter showers and baths can leave your skin feeling very dry and itchy! Here are a few tips you can do to survive this winter season and have your skin feeling GREAT!

WINTER & SUN DAMAGE

PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM SUN DAMAGE. Although it is cold outside and you are usually bundled up, it is important to protect your face from the sun's damaging rays. The sun reflecting off snow can cause severe sunburn when exposed for long periods of time. By using Merino Collagen Cream w/spf 30+, Merino Lip Balm w/spf 30+ & Bio-Fond Cream Foundation you protect your face while looking your best. Merino Collagen Cream gives you great sun block protection using Micronized Zinc. Also the Collagen helps skin to look vibrant, softens and rejuvenates skin...Improves the moisture retention, suppleness and elasticity of your skin as well. Our Lip Balm has maximum protection spf 30+ and gives protection from sun, wind and blistering cold. Also, the lip balm is great on Split Fingertips! For those that like to wear a makeup base, the Bio Fond Cream Makeup is outstanding. Used by many leading Makeup artists, Bio Fond also has a complete natural physical sun block to keep the sun from damaging or prematurely aging your face. We are happy to send color samples for you to match. Check out colors on our website or feel free to call for a consultation.

HANDS & FEET

PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO HANDS & FEET. There are certain areas of the body that require special care during the winter months. Your hands and feet take the brunt of the dry air, resulting in a tendency to dry and crack. This causes the skin to be less effective at providing a barrier against infection and can create a greater chance for infection. Merino Lanolin Skin Cream aids in healing dry, cracked, rough skin, and is perfect for the winter months. The lanolin cream creates a protective barrier for the skin. The soap you choose will make a big difference in this dry season as well. Our Lanolin Soap with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera is a perfect choice because it doesn't strip the skin of it's own natural moisturizing lipids and make the skin feel dry and itchy. It's wonderful!!!!! Also, remember to limit the time you spend in hot showers and baths, lightly pat yourself dry and apply Merino Lanolin Skin Cream to your entire body! Your skin will sing and love you for it!

JUST A COUPLE OF TIPS!

JUST A FEW EXTRA TIPS: ...Add a few drops of Merino Delicate Skin Oil to bath! ...Humidify Indoor Air ...Use lip balm on fingertips and cuticles at bedtime! ...Apply Lanolin Skin Cream to Hands & Feet twice a day! ...Merino Delicate Skin Oil is great on Dry Scalp or Dry patches on the Face! ...Lip Balm is also great around the nose when skiing!

We hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season this year! If there are any products that you would like a sample of or have any questions or comments or tips on skin care...we would love to hear from you.
