Shane was REALLY sick last week - for the first time ever, we had to cancel a gig.  Bummer!  We are so sorry to Goatropers and all of you who planned on coming out.
 
In addition to missing the gig - we also didn't get an email out last week - so here's a quick run down of the shows from the last TWO weeks:
 
Shane Wyatt and Confederate RailroadFirst of all, let's talk about our show at the Salida Depot with Confederate Railroad!  The show was UNBELIEVEABLE!  The guys put on a brand new show, and really stepped it up a notch.  We gained a bunch of new fans and got such great feedback from everyone there.  Confederate Railroad was great!  They graciously shared the stage (Grant got to use their drum kit!) and we had a great time hanging out with them backstage.  And Shane and guys also got to take a rare oppurtunity (once they were done playing) to hang out, have a few beers and even (gasp!) dance with their special ladies!
 
 
That was a great lead up to our show at the Wildwood bar out in Woodville, Wisconsin.  In addition to all of our favorite Wisconsin fans, we had some new fans who saw us the night before at the Confederate Show and then drove an HOUR AND A HALF out to Wisconsin the next night to see us!  Nice!
 
 
We started out the week with a Wednesday show at the South Saint Paul VFW.  Jamie was out during the breaks teaching line dances to go with our songs - look for Jamie and our other line dance instructors at all of our other shows!
 
 
And that leads us to last week's show at the Narrows Saloon in Maple Grove  - the dance floor was packed - lots of fans came out and Shane and all of the guys had a great time!

Friday:  Renegades in Burnsville!

We've played at Renegades a couple times during the week, but this is our first weekend night out there, and and we assure you - you better get there early, 'cause the house is going to be packed!  This is gonna be a blast - and its one of our closest venues to the cities, right on highway 13 between 169 and 35W.  Make sure you visit our merch booth to get a ticket - you can win some great prizes Saturday night in Dundas!

Saturday:  Dawn's Corner Bar in Dundas!

 
I have two words to describe our last show at Dawn's:  CRAY... ZEE!  If you are on the south side of the cities (or if you are within driving distance!), you gotta get down to Dawn's in Dundas on Saturday and join the party.  They have a great big dance floor (Pat and Jamie will be teaching line dancing lessons during the breaks) and we are going to blow it out!  And if you get your ticket on Friday at Renegades, you will eligible to win some GREAT prizes on Saturday!
