For many, JFK Lancer has become an integral part of our lives; friendships have grown from emails and forum posts, our understanding of an important historical event has deepened at conferences, and new books and uncovered evidence have induced others to join the Lancer family. The driving force behind Lancer, Debra Conway has spent years working tirelessly behind the scenes, usually at her own expense, to make sure you - the researcher, student or teacher - have everything you need to further the investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

I wish I could say Lancer is a financially booming company, that it has a full staff of tireless employees, and that it will continue to assist new authors and researchers as long as there is a need. But, the stark truth is that JFK Lancer is financially supported primarily by the personal funds of Debra, and our "staff" is Debra working without salary and a couple of volunteers. Unfortunately, Debra has been very ill this past year, in fact at one point her status was life threatening.  As a result, she has been unable to generate an income for Lancer. Projects are on hold, and we are being forced to cut back on expenses which could include the website and forum.

So, the students and teachers, authors and researchers of tomorrow may not have Lancer as a resource or publisher, and we may not be able to go on the Lancer forum to discuss our latest find or ask a burning question.  We may not have a November in Dallas Conference to attend. Debra humbly asked for donations on the forum  a few days ago, I am asking you to seriously consider that plea. She would never have asked if it the situation were not dire. Please make a purchase today, or perhaps just make a cash donation. Your generosity will be appreciated, and will insure the future of JFK Lancer and research into the death of President Kennedy.
