Synopsis:

Tonight we begin our new series on the Bobby Kennedy assassination. In November we covered the assassination of President John Kennedy, while last April we covered the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. What we found was chilling. Many of the same names and same scenarios from the Kennedy assassination were found. Now we will look at Bobby. The assassination of Senator Bobby Kennedy, presidential candidate, represented the death of the hopes and aspirations of an generation. First, there had been the promise of hope from Camelot, from President Kennedy. Nov 22 1963 saw an end to that.
But there was a promise of a new era with the ushering of a dream from Martin Luther King. His death on April 4 1968 silenced the dreamer. I remember clearly the attitude was "we still have Bobby". Bobby Kennedy was symbolic of true change and idealism but above all he promised to stop the Vietnam War which had been raging for close to six years. He was well on his way to becoming president until June 4 1968, only two months after MLK. Now think about this: instead the hope and promise of Bobby Kennedy the world ended up with eight consecutive years of Richard Nixon,  and Watergate, that almost brought about a complete government collapse.
