Greetings!
|
President Kennedy once said, "The
great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie -- deliberate,
contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and
unrealistic. Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the
discomfort of thought."
Let us, as a research community, agree that we must give thought to the myths. Review our conclusions, based on new evidence or explanations. We welcome you to discuss your opinions in the JFK Lancer forum. You'll find many others who are on the same quest for truth. Also, check out our "Myths" links on the Lancer website and send your ideas for additions.

New Book: Robert F. Kennedy's Vision and the Fierce Urgency of Now
|
by Zachary J. Martin
On April 5, 1968, Robert F. Kennedy stepped to the podium at the City
Club of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio and gave an address titled the
"Mindless Menace of Violence." It had been one day since an assassin's
bullet killed civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. For a country
seeking to understand the senseless bloodshed and the future of the
United States in peril from acts of indifference, Kennedy attempted to
paint a picture of society in which citizens had become out of touch
with one another. This book is an examination of Robert F. Kennedy's
1968 speech. Using a line-by-line breakdown, the author analyzes the
history behind Kennedy's words and discerns a warning for the future of
American society. In history as in society, words can change the course
of human events. As American society has become increasingly violent,
Kennedy's words are just as important today.

New Book: The Grassy Knoll Witnesses
|
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy has been a case that to
this day has not been solved. This book presents the Eyewitness
testimony of many witnesses that were never called by the Warren
Commission. It goes into detail about the shot from the Grassy Knoll,
and what the witnesses heard and saw. Over fifty witnesses to the
crime claimed beyond a reasonable doubt that the fatal head shot to JFK
came from a Picket Fence on a Grassy Knoll. It includes many
interviews that have never been printed in book form before. Featured
witnesses include; Jean Hill, S.M. Holland, Lee E. Bowers, Jr., Ed
Hoffman, Beverly Oliver, L. Fletcher Prouty, Dr. Charles Crenshaw, and
many others...
Harry A. Yardum was born in New York City. His interest in the
assassination of President Kennedy started on a hot day in Dallas,
Texas in August of 1968. On a business trip with his family, he went
to Dealey Plaza to see the site of the assassination. The people with
Harry were a group of employees who worked for his family. They all
stated that it was common knowledge in Dallas that the shot that killed
President Kennedy, the fatal head shot, was fired from the right front
of the motorcade. This sparked an interest in the case that has lasted
a lifetime. Mr. Yardum started his research into the JFK case when he
was just thirteen years old, over 40 years ago. Many of his unique
photographs of Dealey Plaza have been published in numerous books over
the years. A professional drummer and salesperson, he lives on Long
Island with his wife Neva, and their two cats, Winnie and Dandelion.

New Book: Touched By Fire
|
by Frank Griffin
Description:
In
1954 Johnnie Frank Griffin witnessed the violent death of Attorney
General-elect Albert Patterson, of Alabama. Six months later he told a
grand jury what he knew. The next day he was stabbed. Though his wounds
seemed slight, that night he died in a hospital built from the profits
of crime. Nine years later, less than an hour after the assassination
of John F. Kennedy, Johnnie Frank's son, Frank Griffin, saw Lee Harvey
Oswald fleeing the scene of the murder of a Dallas police officer.
Between these two events Frank grew up in one of the strangest decades
in American history. His story touches that of one of the era's best
known governors, John Patterson of Alabama. It intersects with mob
bosses and CIA operations. There's even room for country music and
barroom brawls. This story shows how Frank Griffin's life was truly
Touched By Fire.
