As summer rapidly approaches The Executive Board of the National Association of Black Narcotic Agents (NABNA) anticipates the 29th Annual Training Conference in Pasadena, California during the week of July 16 - 22, 2006. Once again the conference will serve as a valuable resource for law enforcement officers, agencies, and community organizations. The conference will also provide an opportunity to network and share our law enforcement experiences. The Executive Board is eagerly working with the Los Angeles Chapter for a successful 2006 training conference. The mission of NABNA is to provide law enforcement training at the collegiate and professional levels. NABNA is also an integral network for law enforcement officials throughout the United States and abroad to communicate, share investigative techniques, and experiences. More importantly, NABNA provides college scholarship awards, and community service to disadvantaged youth. Past NABNA conferences were a success due to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters like you. We respectfully request that you consider donating goods, services, or monetary contributions towards the success of the this year's conference. In accordance with the Internal Revenue Service, any contribution will be tax deductible. NABNA's theme for 2006 is "Together We Can Do Great Things: Combining Minds to Adapt and Overcome." This is a reminder that Annual National Dues was due January 1, 2006. The following revisions to the National dues structure was adopted during the 28th Annual NABNA Conference: National dues for current financial members is $75.00 Non financial members must pay $150.00 for renewal. A $5.00 late fee will be assessed to current financial members who renew between February 1, 2006 and May 31, 2006) A $10.00 reinstatement fee will be applied for non- financial status or dues remitted after May 31, 2006.
