On November 24, 2005, Drug Enforcement Administration Bridgetown, Barbados Country Attaché Hollis Williams suffered a heart attack and passed away while on holiday vacation at his family's residence in Richmond, Virginia. Williams spent 36 years in public service. He entered duty with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration in March 1983, and served in a variety of foreign and domestic assignments that included the New Orleans Field Division, Washington Field Division, Brasilia, Brazil Country Office, and the Caribbean Division. His supervisory assignments included the Sao Paulo, Brazil Resident Office, Jackson, MS Resident Office, and the Bridgetown, Barbados Country Office. Prior to joining the DEA, Williams served 12 distinguished years of service as a police officer for the Chicago Police Department and 4 years of service with the Arlington, VA Police Department. Williams, who passed at age 56 is survived by his wife Adrian, his daughter, Taneisha, and his son Hollis Jr. The NABNA Executive Board is deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely passing of Williams, who was a true, dedicated and faithful member of NABNA and the law enforcement community. The Constitution and By-laws Committee consisting of National President Karl C. Colder, National Vice President James H. Williams, National Secretary Lenora Morris, National Parliamentarian Michael Abraham, DEA Group Supervisor Rosalynde Fenner, and DEA Special Agent Lisa Prior finalized the revised NABNA Constitution and By-Laws. The By-laws were presented before the membership at the 28th Annual Conference and received a unanimous vote. This is a reminder that Annual National Dues is due January 1, 2006. The following revisions to the National Dues structure was adopted during the 28th Annual NABNA Conference: National dues for current financial members is $75.00 Non financial members must pay $150.00 for renewal. A $5.00 late fee will be assessed to current financial members who renew between February 1, 2006 and May 31, 2006) A $10.00 reinstatement fee will be applied for non- financial status or dues remitted after May 31, 2006.
