Contaminated Machine Clothing hurting your production, efficiency and quality? ProJet can be the solution!
ProJet  Combi Cleaner for Dryer Fabrics Continuous & Batch Cleaning.
Combi Cleaner is a Combi-nation of ProCleaner and Shock Cleaner.
ProJet guarantees that the ProCleaner, type 150 (continuous dryer fabric cleaner) will keep the air permeability at least 80% of its original value during normal operation and normal production. However, it may occur in a short period extraordinary build-up of contamination takes place. This may happen at grade changes, sheet breaks, etc. To be able to clean all this build-up in a very short period of time, 10-15 minutes, the Shock Cleaner part (discontinuous cleaning) may be switched on. This can be done automatically or manually. The Shock Cleaner can restore air permeability to close to 100% of its original value.

Greetings!

All of our Papermaking customers have been looking for ways to make their Drying process more efficient. In this issue of Papermakers' Partner we feature several products that have helped mills achieve "World-Class" drying efficiencies. We hope you find this issue interest.
Dryer Felt Cleaning the easy economical way, How? CLEAN BELT
Clean BeltCLEAN BELT is metal fabric which drags on the dryer felt and knocks surface and internal contaminants out of the dryer felt.
  • Reduced energy consumption
  • increase sheet consistency
  • Increase machine speed
  • Improved machine runability
  • Eliminate debris in the sheet
  • Reduce chemical cleaning costs
  • Maintenance free
  • Easy to install

The Clean Belt simply wraps around a cross machine support pipe and lays on the dryer felt.  The movement of the felt below the CLEAN BELT causes it to bounce on the felt causing the clearing action.
In some cases a catch pan is added to collect the debris etc...

     Chain Mesh lrg
  • No Showers to maintain
  • No pumps to break down
  • No nozzles to unplug.....
  • $$$$Very Inexpensive$$$$
Clean your dryer cans!
cleanline Fluoron's Beimfohr Roll Cleaning System (BCS) is helping many mills get their drying efficiencies and profiles back to where they should be.
Machines feel pressure
Fluoron's custom designed BCS machines have their own control system that can "feel" the amount of pressure required for each cleaning head to maximize the cleaning efficiency.

Cleaning is quick because of the multiple heads.  Each head removes more of the build-up from the surface and the last head polishes it.  The specially designed cleaning media range from coarse to very fine and do not remove significant amounts of metal from the shell.  Where there is heavy deposit, a dust collector conveys the removed deposits to a filter bag.  Heavy deposit is removed in the first pass and the next pass is for polishing finer media.

Fluoron says that the BCS cleans build-up from cans faster and less expensively than other methods, and without having a man in the machine.  The mill needs only provide 60-psi air and 30-amp, 220/240- volt single-phase power with neutral line.

The BCS removes starch, size, coating and pitch as well as rust, hot melts and contaminants from recycled pulp.  Fluoron says it is faster and more effective than blasting with sand, soda ash, dry ice or grinding.

If necessary, on large machines with heavy build-up, six heads can be used, progressing across the face of the dryer to clean and complete the resurfacing in one pass.

The BCS can also be used on felt rolls to prevent felts from losing their seams and to keep the felts straight.  On troublesome felt rolls and stretch rolls, after cleaning Fluoron recommends the installation of Fluoro-Wear 102TM roll covers to eliminate corrosion and build-up which causes high felt wear.

A mill which had dryers on three of its paper machines cleaned in the past year reports,"The moisture profiles are a lot better and when you can run faster and have better quality, it pays for itself in a hurry. "

Once the cans are cleaned Fluoron has a variety of Release Coatings that will help keep your cans cleaner longer. Fluoron also produces Teflon Sleeves for rolls and dryers in FEP and High-Wear and Anti-static materials.
