Dear ROAS friends & supporters,

Fall is finally here and so is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Please enjoy reading September's summary and what exciting October ROAS events are scheduled for this month and request your participation!
ROAS September Summary:

ROAS held inaugural sessions at both Methodist Medical Center and Faithbridge Church on Tuesday, September 11th. Both locations welcomed a number of participants who were thankful beyond words for the opportunity to meet and to become part of a new chapter of ROAS. Looks like Methodist Medical Center is having a fun time on the right and Faithbridge is smiling big on the left!
Don't forget to check our website for all group locations and times.

ROAS greatly thanks all those who came out for Project Pink Ribbons Blanket Assembly. Working hard, the group cut and tied Pink Ribbons fleece material resulting with a surplus of super soft blankets to be given to breast cancer patients. A special thanks goes out to Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and staff for hosting and to Wanda Johnson whose organization and execution made the event a success! View our FB page &/or website photo album to see some pictures.
ROAS Fall Fundraiser: Pink Pancakes & Purses

For the ENTIRE month of October, ROAS will partner with Ouisie's Table and The Bird & The Bear for "Pink Pancakes & Purses." Everyday during breakfast and brunch hours only, a "Pink Pancake" menu special will be featured in addition to a "Pink Champagne Cocktail." Ten percent of the sales from these two items will be donated directly to ROAS.

In addition, there will be an ongoing Silent Purse Auction at both locations. Each restaurant will feature unique handbags. All monies raised from the auction will go directly into a newly developed scholarship program offering financial assistance to patients and survivors in need. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine & shop for a cause!
Special ROAS October Events:
