FortisBC Petition
A petition requesting the BC Utilities Commission deny the FortisBC application for amalgamation and implementation of "postage stamp" rates is available to sign at the Chamber of Commerce and Cotes Technology Solutions. Approval of the application would result in an increase of 50.27% in Fort Nelson gas prices by 2027.

BC Hydro Public Consultation 

BC Hydro is inviting stakeholders and the public to participate in the upcoming Project Definition Consultation for the Site C Clean Energy Project. The consultation is taking place April 10 through May 31, 2012. Click above for locations and information on how to register.

JobFest is a Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation sponsored tour of BC, and uses a rock concert theme to present job opportunities to BC youth. Ducks Unlimited Canada will host a banquet and auction on March 24 to benefit the conservation of wetlands. Tickets are available at OC Supplies or WC Enterprises.
