We can learn an awful lot from our pets. My cat Charlie is so forgiving, he sleeps at my feet even after I've left him alone for three straight days. One of my favorite dogs, a black Lab named Maddy Ann, always seems to have a smile that runs completely through her. In college, I had a Cockatiel whose favorite pastime was to learn a new song.
Animals remind us that what makes us happiest is not wealth or riches, but love from someone or something who cares deeply about us.

Water Park Goes to the Dogs
Grapeland Water Park's last day of the season is November 4 and it will be going to the dogs, literally! Friendly, social furry friends are invited to come and dive into our shallow pools. Tennis balls will be available for those who like to swim with toys! This is a once a year event for all those who want to experience the water park with their doggie kids.
