Dear JABBERS:
I just read my horoscope. WAIT ... please don't stop reading! It started out with this: "All year, new people have been streaming into your life, and the influence has likely been very stimulating! You may have moved to a new location, changed jobs ... or maybe you decided to get involved with social media. Any of these types of changes would have been why you have expanded your circle, and no doubt those new friendships have widened your worldview." Now perhaps anyone's horoscope could start the same way. But you have to admit, that is pretty poignant!
 I always reflect on the past year during the month of June because it's the start of summer and my birthday, both of which happen to fall on the same day (June 21st)! And this year has been a particularly exciting one. Over the past 12 months, we have made major improvements to JAB, launched The Newsletter in two new cities and most importantly, we continue to grow our unparalleled community of amazing JABBERS. I am eternally thankful to you for always giving each other the "star treatment" and making JAB so unique. Perhaps I should thank my lucky stars as well! Happy JABBING! - Boo |

This Dog Truly is a "Trooper"

 Sometimes things just stop you in your tracks. Two days ago, during an extreme downpour of rain, I saw a Chocolate Lab, severely injured and alone, on the side of the road. It was heartbreaking when I realized that this sweet animal, paralyzed by his pain, was immobilized on the ground, bleeding. He had been hit by a car and, among other injuries, his front leg seemed to be broken. Thankfully, with the help of several good Samaritans and one incredible police officer, we were able to get him to a veterinary hospital where "Trooper" had surgery. He had his jaw fracture boned, his palate repaired, and his leg was set with pins. Will you help us give Trooper a second chance and donate HERE to his medical fund?
