Recruiting & Retaining Members During Challenging Times - The Survey...
We are pleased to announce the launch of our Recruiting and Retaining Members During Challenging Times survey.

Conference Image

You are invited to take part and as an added incentive we are giving away 2 x £50 John Lewis vouchers to two lucky participants!

3 great reasons why you should take part:

1) You will receive a FREE benchmarked survey report that will provide you and your organisation with member recruitment and retention insight and inspiration for 2012 and beyond.

2) The survey results will enable the MemberWise Network to focus on key issues/topics and compile practitioner-led good practice tools and resources that (as a subscriber) you will have full access to. E.g. Member benefit analysis tool.

3) You will be taking part in 'ground breaking' research within the membership and association sector.

As a thank you we are not only giving away 2 x £50 John Lewis vouchers but we are also extending the 'Early Bird' ticket offer for our Recruiting and Retaining Members During Challenging Times conference on 5th March.

Initial survey results will be debated at The Guardian Seminar: 10 ways to gain more members on 20th January.

Take part...

Note: This survey is only open to membership and association professionals.

Guardian Seminar: 10 ways to gain more members...

Guardian Header

We have partnered with The Guardian to facilitate a morning seminar on the following topic - 10 Ways to Gain More Members.

The event will take place in Central London on 20th January 2012 and will focus on:

- Top ten fundamentals of running a successful mebership scheme
- How social media can be used to engage with new and existing members

The session will be facilitated by MemberWise Founder, Richard Gott, and Consultant, Abby Wright-Parkes.

Richard commented:

'Our seminar will be filled with practical good practice information, ideas, advice and ground-breaking research results/recommendations.'

'I am particularly pleased The Guardian has identified that practitioner-led events really can make a difference. We look forward to working more closely in the future!'

We have three great speakers/sessions:

- Strengthening Relationship between the Regional Branch Network and HQ Presented by Mary Foley, Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT)

- The FSB Recruitment Model and its Evolution presented by Hanah Holdroyd, London Development Manager, Federation of Small Business (FSB)

- Roses not thorns - branch and group governance presented by Susie Kay, Managing Director, The Professionalism Group

Some great Christmas offers for you (not your organisation!)
In the lead-up to Christmas we thought it would be nice to share some great online offers.

We had a quick search on the internet and found three good offers:

- Boots - £15 off £100 spend (until 23 Dec)
- BodyShop - 15% off (until 31 Dec)

- Homebase - 20% off £30 spend (between 2 & 4 Dec)

- Hotel Chocolat - 10% off £40 spend (until 24 Dec - code: MYVCWINTER)

Our favourite online discount/promotion website is the MoneySavingExpert site followed closely by Quidco, a cashback website. This site pays money back to you for making online purchases. E.g. a one-week stay at Hilton hotels can pay £80 cashback, M&S annual home insurance is paying £45 cashback, and Vodafone is offering £140.
