Buddy System |

The Buddy System is a group for Temple
Beth El members of all ages who live alone. You will be paired with another TBE member who will have regular contact with you so that someone will be notified in case of an illness or an emergency.
You will not be alone.
If you are interested in becoming a TBE Buddy, please email Ellen Wacher and indicate "Buddy System" in the subject line or contact the Temple Office at 954-920-8225. |

Dead Sea Scrolls Comes To Times
Square Tourist Land

Tourists thronged New York City's Times Square over the holiday period.
Some had come to take in the sights, others a Broadway play and still others the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were to be found in temporary residence at Discovery Times Square ("More than a museum"), on West 44th Street. Visit this "once-in-a-lifetime-exhibit"; "Experience firsthand the traditions, beliefs and iconic objects of ancient Israel that impact world religions today"; "Experience the Holy Land" - trilled the advertisements for "Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Biblical Times."
