The 3rd Annual Gingerbread Jimmi House Competition
Children across Utah are invited to bring a Gingerbread house to the Park City Library this Holiday Season. The competition will take place on Monday, December 5th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Pick up an application and copy of the guidelines at the Library front desk after November 1st.
Special guests include J.R. Holbrook, author of Gingerbread Jimmi, and Santa who will read the book. Enjoy treats and a raffle for goodies from Park City sponsors.

For Youth
Get to know KUED's Kid Village- including friends from Martha Speaks, Dinosaur Train, Super Why! & Sid the Science Kid.
November 14th - December 3rd
- Pick up your KUED reading log at the library or online at http://www.kued.org/kids/.
- The program encourages families to spend quality time reading together.
- All children, preschool age and higher may participate.
- Children who complete their reading by December 23rd will be invited to a fun-filled Super Reader Party to be held at the Utah State Fair Park Grand Building in January 2012.
- It's free -it's fun.

2011 Future Monets, Manets and Mary Cassatts Exhibit
In partnership with the Traveling Exhibits Program, made possible by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, you are invited to stop by and see the "2011 Future Monets, Manets and Mary Cassatts" exhibit from November 14th to December 15th at the Park City Library. This exhibit will feature artwork by students from grade levels K - 8 and will represent schools across the state of Utah. The artwork is a product of carefully conceived lessons plans carried out by various teachers and arts specialists in Utah schools. |
Food for Fines - November 1 - 30
During the month of November the Library will be accepting non-perishable food items for overdue book fines. We will forgive $1 or part of a dollar for each non-perishable item that you bring to the circulation desk.
The food will go to stock the local food pantry at the Christian Center. |
