Free Basic Computer Classes

The library will offer computer classes again starting in February. Classes will be held Wednesday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. The classes that will be offered are: Basic Computer Skills, Basic Internet, Basic Word Processing, Basic Email, and Library Databases.

gingerbreadGingerbread Jimmi - Monday, December 6th from 6:30 -7:30 p.m.

Show off your gingerbread house making skills at this special holiday event!
Entries must be received by 6 p.m. on December 6th. Join J.R. Holbrook, author of Gingerbread Jimmi for a reading of his book and learn the Gingerbread Jimmi song. Enjoy treats and a raffle for goodies from Park City sponsors.

Food For Fines through Dec. 12th
We will forgive $1
(or part of a dollar) for each non-perishable item that you bring to the library.
No Fines? Contribute an item anyway- just think of it as a deposit in your 'good neighbor' account.
All collected items will be donated to local food banks.

Join us for the Park City Kids Book Club! 
Boys and girls ages 6 and up are invited to join us for our afterschool book club. The club meets from 4:15-5:15 p.m. every Wednesday during the school year. Enjoy games, crafts and snacks. We will read a book out loud together. Books we have read in the past include: The BFG by Roald Dahl, James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt, titles from E.L. Konigsburg, Kate DiCamillo, Karen Cushman and more! Watch our calendar online at www.parkcitylibrary.org  for dates.
 

Teens-do you need volunteer hours? Join T.A.G. - Teen Advisory Group!

The mission of this group is to suggest services, materials and programs that are needed and desired by Park City teens. Join us for meetings to brainstorm and plan events. Events have included Teen Movie nights.  Pick up an application in the Teen area or find one on our website.

2010 Watercolor Society Exhibit - On Display Through Dec. 13th
In partnership with the Traveling Exhibits Program, made possible by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, Park City Library invites you to stop by and see the 2010 Utah Watercolor Society Exhibit. It will be at the library until December 13th.
2010 All State High School Art Show - On Display from February 2nd to March 3rd 
Also in partnership with the Traveling Exhibits Program, made possible by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, Park City Library invites you to stop by and see the 2010 All State High School Art Show. This exhibit features the talent and creativity of Utah's young artist.
 
Spanish practice classes take place on Thursday nights from 5 -7 p.m. with outreach coordinator and native speaker, Jose Duran. All levels are welcome to come and practice in a casual atmosphere. Contact Heather for more information at 435-615-5603 or by email [email protected].
