Whether you are a full-paying-tuition family or a family receiving financial aid please consider a gift that is comfortable for your family. Any donation is received with great enthusiasm from all of us here on staff and the GHA Annual Fund Committee.

Also! Will you work one day for GHA? Consider donating one day's income to the GHA NOW! Annual Fund Campaign.

Thank you to all who have already given and thank you in advance for your generosity and participation.

Third Grade Hosts Local Author Catherine Markl

Sherman the Sheep

Local author, Catherine Markl, or Cee Cee as she is more affectionately known, visited with 3rd Grade and Kindergarten on Wednesday. Catherine has written and illustrated five books based on her character, Sherman the Sheep. You can learn more about Cee Cee and her Sherman series by clicking here

Cee Cee's visit is especially important to the Third Grade students who are currently learning about mysteries and detective stories and will be writing their own mystery stories and will publish a hard-covered book of their own.

Kindergarten students enjoyed Cee Cee's interactive storytelling and Sherman's adventures during her visit as many of her stories are geared for a younger audience.

Preschool - Teddy Bear Picnic

Teddy Bear Picnic

Preschool students enjoyed a "Teddy Bear's Picnic" this week. Students brought their favorite stuffed animal to class and shared their entire day with their animals.

The children built and decorated bear caves for their animals and made butter and honey sandwiches for their picnic. They even learned how to make real butter by shaking jars of heavy cream!
