Greetings!
As the PTA year draws to an end, there are a few items I'd like to bring to your attention. First, if you are not continuing as president at your PTA, please forward this message to the incoming president. To keep our distribution list current, please send me a note to president@fccpta.org providing me with important information for the 2012-13 PTA board at your school. Please provide the name of your PTA, officer position, individuals name, and email address. Please do this today. I do hope your term as president has been memorable and thank you for your commitment to the students, parents, and staff of your school. The success of PTA relies on dedicated individuals such as yourself and your officers, committee chairs, and other volunteers. Please remember to thank them and invite them to return next year. Keep in mind to continue to include those not already active in your PTA. If you are "graduating" from your current level of involvement and headed to the next education level, I encourage you to involve yourself at your child's middle or high school. There are many roles and positions where you can volunteer your services. Also, the FCCPTA is always looking for new members to join our board. We will have vacancies in committee positions as well as our liaisons to school board advisory committees. Please feel free to contact me directly at president@fccpta.org if you would like more information on the vacant positions.

Here are a few ways you and your membership can stay connected to PTA here in Fairfax:
As this term comes to an end, I am honored to have represented you and your members as the president of the FCCPTA. I have enjoyed the relationships made and the opportunity to meet and assist PTA leaders in Fairfax during these past two years. I've enjoyed the opportunity to work with dedicated PTA leaders on my board. The work the FCCPTA accomplishes is truly a group effort; I am most appreciative of this dedicated group of PTA leaders and advocates. I thank you for your service for all children.
The FCCPTA looks forward to our continued work on behalf of the many issues facing Fairfax's students, parents, and staff. Help is always just one click away. I look forward to seeing you at our meeting on Tuesday and again on June 9th at our leadership training.
Regards,
Mona
Ramona Morrow, President
Fairfax County Council of PTAs
